Touriga Nacional originates from Portugal. These grapes are sourced from our multiple-trophy winning patch of Touriga Nacional on our Glossop vineyard.
919 2023 Touriga Nacional is rich magenta in colour. It has a spicy white pepper profile over plums, stewed fruit, sweet and sour cherries, rare meat, and a hint of jam and confection. The palate is very silky and full, with stylish soft tannins coated in cherry, plum and berry flavours and a hint of dark chocolate.
This is a wine of rare elegance and finesse. We recommend that it is opened for about half an hour before service, to allow the flavours to blossom. Cellar up to 8 year, and serve within 3 days of opening for best freshness.
Trophy: 2024 Riverland Wine Show
The 2023 vintage is certified by Southern Cross Certified Organic SXC 20044.
919 Wines is a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. 919 Reserve 2023 Touriga Nacional is made from qualifying grapes grown on our 919 vineyard #00940 at our certified winery #01919.
